You are invited to apply for The South Side Chicago Youth Orchestra (SSCYO)* Summer 2020 Instrumental Workshop. The Workshop will run from Monday, July 6 through Thursday, August 13, 1-5pm, with a culminating concert on the evening of August 13 at South Shore Cultural Center. The Workshop is offered free of charge to all participating musicians. Successful applicants will be aged 12-25, and can read music and perform at an intermediate level on Violin, Viola, Cello, or Stand-Up Bass. Applicants must have their own instruments. Repertoire for the Workshop will include the standard orchestra repertoire, including contemporary selections.
